In Meride in the Canton of Ticino, a professor of economics, who was born in this town and fell in love with it, embarked on a somewhat crazy adventure: renovating and reopening a historic inn that had been in the centre of the medieval town for over 10 years. It seemed like madness, not to be recommended to any client or student, but with the support of his wife, the village, but above all the banks, he managed to renovate the old stone building from the 18th century, rich in history and with a magical charm, creating a small boutique hotel with 7 special rooms and a restaurant with a starred chef.
