The 7 Rooms

The 7 Rooms

The Locanda has been offering its hospitality for over 80 years

As well as our restaurant, the Locanda has 7 rooms available to guests for brief and longer stays alike: whether to recharge, to spend time with nature, with friends, to write or work, or simply to take some time to experience the wonders that the region has to offer.

Each of our 7 rooms is different, unique, fascinating; in each room you will feel the spirit and rich history of the building. Each space retains the lives and histories of all its previous dwellers; they sprawl along corridors in a peculiar fashion, almost a labyrinth to lose yourself in, full of staircases, wooden ceilings, and stone walls. They are precious spaces, made warm and welcoming by their structure, by the enchanting views that they offer, and by the architectural elements that were recovered in the 2019 restoration project.

Most of the rooms contain king-sized beds or separable double beds, but triple or family rooms are also available. Their names are inspired by Silvestro, or ‘he who inhabits the forests’, and are named after the most common woodland scents found in the woods surrounding the Locanda.

You will choose the one perfect for you: small and enveloping, with a warm chestnut ceiling and a view of the rooftops, or wide and spacious with a columned arcade overlooking the valley? White and luminous under the midday sunshine, or with stone and redbrick vaults that warm up a cooler evening. Whichever you choose, we will make sure you feel at home.
While you enjoy your rest breaks, your bike too will be kept safe and sound in the Locanda’s Bike Room, which is available to all guests (until space runs out!).

Each room has been designed to maximise your comfort, to ensure you make the most of your time with us

  • Wide showers with chromotherapy and one suite with a Turkish steam bath;
  • Extra-comfort mattresses (from 5-star hotel lines) and the chance to select between three pillow types to ensure a dreamy night;
